Science Week Skittle Experiment
Science Week Skittle Experiment
For this experiment we had to place skittles all around the plate. After we set them around the plate we added some warm water. When we added the water it made a swirl effect.
The warm water dissolved the colours off the skittles and it made a rainbow effect.
When the younger ones did it they had the same reaction.
As well as that it looks like a illusion from the angle.
Here is Roisin, Anna and myself Isabelle. The water looked like a rainbow and it was pretty cool.
Here are Raylen and Ina making their circle
and i'm sure they had lots of fun doing this.
Here is the reaction from the skittles up close the
skittles still look like an illusion.
Here are Jacob and James. You can kind of see the colours
slowly go into the water and the water also had to be warm.
If it wasn't warm then the colours would have stayed with the skittles.
Here is Myra making herself a little plate of skittles .
Here is Myra and Hanan with their skittles. It kinda looks like a drawing.
Here is Addy and Aaron with their skittles and im sure
they had been very happy with the reaction it had to the water.
Here is Micheal, Sam, James and Jacob making the circle of skittles around the plate. It was a fun experiment and a fun way to learn some science
