Science Day

We held a science experiment day in our school hall.
Everyone gathered together to share ideas and try out the different experiments.
It was a great success.

We tried making sounds with these metal prongs by banging the metal prongs off a table. And then once we put it up to our ear it made a sound. But when you banged it against different things it made different sound affects.

In this station you could use the suction cups to lift the table or anything .
Here are the metal prongs and if you banged it of this piece of wood it would make a really loud sound affect after putting it up to your ear.

In this station your could wet your finger with water and then rub your finger around the rim of the glass to make sound affects it was really fun.

In this station it shows you the different magnets to lift up different types of screws.
In this picture you could shine a bright light against a different colour glass panel to make a colour on the wall.

Here if you put this up against your face it would make it look big .
Here are Jacob and Hannah rubbing the metal prongs against the wood to make different sound affects.

Here are three of our students lifting the bench with the suction cups.
Here is one of our students dipping his finger into the glass .Getting ready to rub the rim with his wet finger to make different sound affects.
Here is two students picking up screws with magnets with different shapes and sizes of screws.
Here you could see different feathers. You could also see very small things.
I                       n this station you could put little metal things on top of the big magnet.
Here you could rub the metal prongs against a cardboard box to make a different sound if you rubbed it against the wood.
Here you could see how heavy the giant magnet is .
Here you could see the different faces you could make with the face changer.
Here is Liam making a fun face using the face changer
Here is one of our students making a funny expression.
Here is two of our students making funny face expressions.
Here is Liam rubbing his finger around the glass to make a sound affect.
Here you could shine colour pallets up to a light to make different colours.
You could also shine two colours up to it if you wanted to.

Here people were putting the microscope up to there hair.
Here there was a level to see how level things were.
You could use some binoculars to see how long or big things were from a distance .
You could also attach screws to the giant magnet.
Here is Liam showing his tongue.
Here you could rub your finger around the rim of the glass

We really enjoyed science day
