Math's week occurs during October. It reminds us how important maths is.
During Maths Week we participated in a wide variety of activities that promote the importance of maths such as pattern work done by the junior and senior infants, tessellation challenges, constructing 3d shapes, taking part in a 2d shape scavenger hunt to see what we could find around the classroom, pattern art work building shapes with popsicle sticks, guessing the weight of a pumpkin, learning about length, building 3D shapes with Lego and a maths trail.
