Lava lamp experiment

The junior room also did many exciting experiments like creating their own lava lamps using empty bottles water, cooking oil, food colouring andAlka Seltzer tablets. They were a complete success when your turned off the lights and closed the blinds. 

Here we have Izzy and Addy.

To make the lava lamp they needed

food colouring and a bottle with water.

Here we have Ina and Emma

Having lots of fun.

Then we have Hanan she had made an orange lava lamp

instead of a green one.

She had lots of fun with it and I'm sure 

it looked great in her house.

Then we have Emma and Ina again but making the lamp

as you can see they used yellow and green food colouring.

and im sure she had lots of fun.

Here is Addy and Izzy completeing the lamp.

If you think about it it kinda looks like it could glow 

in the dark if it was solar powered then it would be a real

lava lamp and it would work as a nightlight.

And here is Ina putting in a type of liquid

to do this lamp and im sure it was very fun making

these Lava Lamps and it must have been fun to learn.
